This notice explains how Accura Accountants (Pty) Ltd ("Accura") collects and uses personal information, as required by the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What this website collects
The contact form does not store anything on this website. It opens WhatsApp on your own device with your message filled in, and you choose whether to send it. The site keeps anonymous visit statistics so we can see which pages are useful.
What we collect as your accountant
When you become a client we collect what we need to do the work you engage us for: contact details, tax numbers, financial records and payroll information. We use it only for that work and to meet our legal obligations to SARS, CIPC and other authorities.
Who we share it with
- SARS, CIPC and other authorities, where the law requires it or you ask us to file on your behalf.
- Software we use to do the work, such as Xero, under their own security terms.
We never sell personal information.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how it is used. To do so, WhatsApp or call 060 886 2417. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
